It’s been an interesting first term for me so far, I think I’ve discovered a larger understanding or a wide verity of artistic technics and styles. It’s been very interesting to learn and study new artists whom have helped me to develop my own work further and have led me to ask myself important questions about what I want to create and why.
I started the year concentrating on lines and expanding upon my work from last year. The quickly grew into a cubism-esque form of abstracting in which I concentration on colour, texture and creating a sense of depth. More recently I have expanded these ideas and have used elements of cubist abstraction in creating abstract landscapes and using textures to creat better images.
